Who we are
DigniPath is a person-centered provider supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across New Jersey, providing services tailored to each person's goals, preferences, and level of independence.
Unlocking potentials, empowering choices.
Our vision
A New Jersey where every individual — regardless of ability — can live with dignity, purpose, and full inclusion. We strive to be a transformative force in the state's human services landscape, leading the way in person-centered care, community integration, and empowerment.
Our story
DigniPath was born from experience — but more importantly, from a shared decision to do better.
What we were doing before
For over 30 years, our founder's life's work has been rooted in social care. With a BSc in Health and Social Care from the United Kingdom, he spent three decades supporting individuals with mental health challenges, guiding children through emotional and behavioral difficulties, and working as a community case worker.
Alongside him, our Program Manager brings over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), providing hands-on clinical care and supporting individuals with complex health and physical needs.
Through our combined decades of experience, one truth became clear: when people are genuinely supported, their abilities shine far beyond their limitations.
The turning point
We also saw where the system was falling short. Too often, services focused on diagnoses instead of strengths, and paperwork instead of people. Care plans met requirements but missed the individual's voice, goals, and potential.
That was our turning point. We realized we could no longer work around these gaps — we had to close them. So we built DigniPath: an agency designed around people, not processes.
The DigniPath mission
DigniPath exists to shift the focus — from disability to ability, and from service delivery to true empowerment. Every person deserves to be seen, understood, and supported to reach their full potential.
We also believe dignity includes protection. With a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Security on our leadership team, we ensure that compassionate, person-centered care is backed by the highest standards of privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
